🏃 RACE CATEGORIES & AGE REQUIREMENTS

Full Marathon (42.195 KM): 18 years & above 

Half Marathon (21.095 KM): 16 years & above 

Challenge Run (10.55 KM): 14 years & above 

Fun Run (1 KM): No age limit — open to all (perfect for kids, families & beginners)

📋 GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES

Age Limits: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for their chosen category. 

Registration: Online only. No on-site registration will be accepted on race day. 

ID Verification: A valid photo ID is required for kit collection at the Race Expo. 

Race Kit Pickup: Expo only — no distribution on race day or via mail. 

Waiver Agreement: All runners must agree to the event waiver during online registration.

🕔 RACE DAY RULES

Timing Chips: Mandatory for Full Marathon, Half Marathon & Challenge Run. 

Bib Numbers: Must be worn visibly at all times. Running without a visible bib may result in disqualification. 

Start Times: All participants must start at their designated flag-off times. 

Course Compliance: Stay on the official route and follow guidance from race marshals and volunteers. 

Littering: Strictly prohibited. Please dispose of waste at designated bins. Let’s keep Patenga clean! 🌿 

Medical Support: Aid and hydration stations available throughout the course. Pets & Strollers: Not permitted on the racecourse for safety reasons.

🏆 PRIZE MONEY RULES

Eligibility: Prize money will only be awarded if a category meets the minimum required number of participants. 

Winners: Prizes awarded to top 3 male and female finishers in Full Marathon, Half Marathon & Challenge Run. 

Presence Required: Winners must be present at the awards ceremony to claim prizes. 

Verification: Identity and age verification may be required before awarding prizes.

🌦️ CANCELLATION & EVENT POLICY

Weather Policy: Rain or shine — the bay does not stop, and neither do we. Severe weather may delay the start but no refunds will be issued. 

Transfer Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another runner within the given period (with applicable fees). 

Refund Policy: No refunds under any circumstances, including injury, illness, or travel issues.

🤝 CONDUCT & FAIR PLAY

Sportsmanship: Respect fellow runners, event staff, and volunteers at all times. Unsporting behavior may result in disqualification. 

Complaints: Any dispute must be reported to race officials immediately after the race.
