Event Rules

General Rules

• Age Limit: Participants must be at least 14 years old for the 10K race and 12 years old for the 5K race. The 1K Fun Run has no age restriction but is designed primarily for kids and families.

• Registration: All participants must register online by the deadline. No on-site registrations will be accepted on race day.

• ID Proof: A valid photo ID is required to collect race packets.

• Race Packet Pickup: Race packets must be picked up at the Race Expo. No packets will be mailed or distributed on race day.

• Waiver: All participants are required to sign a waiver during registration.

Race Day Rules

• Timing Chips: Runners in the 10K and 5K categories must wear their timing chips for accurate race timing.

• BIB Numbers: BIB numbers must be worn visibly throughout the race. Participants without visible BIB numbers will be disqualified.

• Start Times: Participants are required to start the race at their designated start times.

• Course: Stay on the marked course and adhere to instructions from race officials and volunteers.

• Littering: Please use designated bins for trash disposal; littering is strictly prohibited.

• Medical Assistance: Medical aid stations will be available along the course. Participants needing medical help should seek immediate assistance.

• Pets and Strollers: For safety, pets and strollers are not allowed on the racecourse.

Prize Rules

• Eligibility: Prize money will only be awarded if the category has enough registered participants.

• Podium Placement: Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 in the 10K and 5K races for both male and female categories.

• Age Categories (10K): Podium positions will be announced in specific age groups for male and female participants.

• Claiming Prizes: Winners must be present at the awards ceremony to claim their prizes. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

• Verification: Prize winners may need to provide proof of age and identity.

Cancellation and Changes

• Weather Policy: The event will proceed rain or shine. In severe weather or emergencies, it may be delayed but will not be refunded.

• Non-Transferable: Registrations are non-transferable to other individuals.

• Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for any reason, including injury or illness.

Conduct

• Sportsmanship: Participants are expected to show respect toward other runners, volunteers, and race staff.

• Complaints: Any issues or disputes should be reported to race officials promptly after the race.
